“I came to know Anne Marie when she was searching for a home for her ailing parents.
She was struggling with their decline and wanted to give them a home that would provide them with a compassionate surrounding and maintain their dignity so that they could both live out their remaining days together.
She knew each resident by name and would greet them and have a kind word or a gentle pat on the back. She still provides my facility with monthly visits where she gives every part of herself to each of the residents who sit in the same places that her parents once sat. She smiles at them, tells stories to them, remembers them even when they cannot remember her. She is a true gift to each of us.”
